Samsung Galaxy M34 Officially Announced, Comes with OS Updates Up to 4x

Galaxy M34 India

Samsung has released their latest mid-range smartphone from the M series, the Galaxy M34, in India. This smartphone is introduced with a more affordable price compared to the Samsung A34, highlighting its power aspect and support for OS updates up to 4x and security updates up to 5x.

Compared to its predecessor, this OS update is a significant improvement since previously, long-term OS update support was only available in the high-end Galaxy S and A series.

In addition to the OS update, the Galaxy M34 also enhances the camera aspect, featuring a 50MP primary camera equipped with OIS. Meanwhile, the ultra-wide camera is upgraded from 5MP to 8MP. The selfie camera is also improved from 8MP to 13MP.

Features

The Galaxy M34 also introduces a 6.5-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display with a slightly higher aspect ratio of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels at 20:9, compared to the 6.6-inch LCD display with a 19.5:9 ratio on the Galaxy M33. Gorilla Glass 5 protection is also present to safeguard the screen against scratches, and there is an Always On Display feature.

Some specifications remain the same as its predecessor, such as the use of the Exynos 1280 chipset and similar options for RAM and storage. The Galaxy M34 is also equipped with virtual RAM and a microSD slot for expanded storage capacity.

6000mAh

The battery of the Galaxy M34 remains the same as the previous model, with a larger capacity of 6,000mAh compared to most other smartphones. It is supported by 25W fast charging.

The device is available in three color options: Midnight Blue, Prism Silver, and Waterfall Blue. The Galaxy M34 is priced starting from INR 17,000 for the 6/128GB variant and INR 19,000 for the 8GB RAM version.
