Samsung Galaxy M44 Benchmark Surfaces on Geekbench: Is it Packing Snapdragon 888?

Recent benchmark data discovered on Geekbench has ignited speculation that Samsung is gearing up to introduce the Samsung Galaxy M44 to the market soon.

As reported by Fonearena, the device with the code SM-M446K made an appearance on Geekbench, showcasing a Single-Core score of 1531 and an impressive Multi-Core score of 3771. What’s catching the attention of tech enthusiasts is the surprising choice of chipset. Instead of the usual Exynos chipset found in its predecessors, it seems that the Galaxy M44 might be powered by the formidable Snapdragon 888 chipset.

The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G, launched last year, utilized the Exynos 1280 chipset and achieved global success, including a presence in Indonesia. However, if the rumors are to be believed, the upcoming Galaxy M44 will bring a shift in the chipset department, offering even more power and performance with the Snapdragon 888.

Apart from the chipset revelation, expectations are high for other notable specifications. The Galaxy M44 is anticipated to come equipped with 6GB of RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking capabilities. Furthermore, the device is likely to run on the latest Android 13 operating system, promising an up-to-date and user-friendly experience.

While Geekbench has given us a sneak peek into the Galaxy M44’s potential prowess, there is still much to uncover about its overall design, camera capabilities, and additional features. As of now, it remains uncertain whether Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy M44 globally or restrict it to an exclusive release in Korea. Enthusiasts around the world eagerly await official announcements and further details from Samsung, as the Galaxy M44 prepares to make its grand entrance into the smartphone market.
