Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Rumored to Launch with Exynos 2400e Chipset

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to launch globally with the Exynos 2400e chipset, a new addition to Samsung’s lineup of processors. This move marks a return to Samsung’s use of Exynos chips in more regions, following a period where Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors were more prominently featured in its devices outside of South Korea and Europe. The Exynos 2400e is expected to bring significant improvements in performance and efficiency, making the Galaxy S24 FE a competitive mid-range smartphone.

The Exynos 2400e is a slightly scaled-down version of the Exynos 2400. Its main difference lies in its reduced clock speed on the primary Cortex-X4 core, which is 3.11 GHz instead of 3.2 GHz. This trade-off results in improved power efficiency and longer battery life.

In benchmarking tests, the Exynos 2400e demonstrated solid performance. It scored 1996 points in the single-core Geekbench test and 5678 points in the multi-core test.

Alongside the new processor, the Galaxy S24 FE is expected to come with a variety of enhancements over its predecessors. These include a refined design, an upgraded camera system, and a more vibrant display. The camera is rumored to have better low-light capabilities and improved image stabilization, which would make it a strong choice for photography enthusiasts. The display is also likely to feature higher refresh rates and better color accuracy, improving the user experience across all applications.

Samsung’s decision to equip the Galaxy S24 FE with the Exynos 2400e could also be a strategic move to reduce reliance on external suppliers and improve the integration of hardware and software. This would allow Samsung to optimize its devices more effectively, ensuring that users get the best possible performance and features. Additionally, using an in-house chipset could potentially lead to cost savings, which might allow Samsung to price the Galaxy S24 FE more competitively in the global market.

While there’s no official release date for the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, current rumors suggest that it will likely be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset.
