Secondary Display of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 to be Optimized for Google Apps

Samsung is reportedly set to launch its latest foldable devices, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 26, 2023, in South Korea.

According to leaked information, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 will feature a larger secondary display (outer screen). It will be specifically optimized to accommodate various Google applications.

Samsung has been collaborating with Google recently, with the aim of developing and optimizing Google apps such as Maps, Messages, and even YouTube to maximize their functionality on the secondary screen of Samsung’s foldable devices. As a result of this collaboration, users can expect to read texts, watch videos, and navigate maps without having to open their Samsung foldable device first.

This is an intriguing move by Samsung, as no competitor has been able to offer a secondary display with a larger size while maintaining functionality for a range of applications.
