Suspected Redmi Note 13 Series Spotted in TENAA Certification

Recently, two enigmatic smartphones attributed to Redmi have surfaced in the certification records of the Chinese telecommunications authority, TENAA. These elusive devices are strongly believed to be integral components of the forthcoming Redmi Note 13 Series.

These devices are distinguished by their model numbers: 23090RA98C and 2312DRA50C, which analysts speculate correspond to the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ respectively. The certification dossier provides intriguing insights into several pivotal specifications, notably encompassing 5G connectivity capabilities for both gadgets.

Expanding on their attributes, both smartphones showcase a generous 6.67-inch OLED display boasting a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. A noteworthy distinction lies in the chipsets they house, featuring distinct clock speeds of 2.4GHz and 2.8GHz. There’s speculation that the Pro+ variant will be propelled by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 SoC.

In the realm of memory and storage, the Redmi Note 13 Pro promises a robust RAM capacity of up to 16GB, paired with storage options reaching 1TB. In parallel, the Pro+ iteration raises the stakes with a remarkable 18GB of RAM. Battery specifications also set them apart: the Pro version touts a 5,020mAh battery capacity with 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ counterpart incorporates a 4,880mAh battery with an even speedier 120W fast charging capability.

Leaked details from tipster Kacper Skrzypek provide tantalizing insights into the camera setup. It’s suggested that certain renditions of the Redmi Note 13 Series may draw inspiration from the Redmi K60 Ultra, equipped with a striking 200MP Samsung HP3 primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro/depth sensor. Complementing these, a 16MP front-facing camera is anticipated. These captivating camera specifications are likely reserved for the Redmi Note 13 Pro or Pro+ models.

Despite the lack of official confirmation, industry speculation points towards a potential launch window for the Redmi Note 13 Series, slated for September or October. This estimation aligns with the precedent set by the debut of the Note 12 Series in China back in October 2022.
