Xiaomi Civi 3, the selfie-focused smartphone from Xiaomi, is set to make its debut on May 25, 2023. As the launch date approaches, Xiaomi has gradually been unveiling the key features of the Civi 3.
Today, Xiaomi announced the top configuration of the Xiaomi Civi 3, which boasts impressive specifications. The Civi 3 was recently spotted in the MIIT certification database, confirming that the phone will come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Additionally, Xiaomi Civi 3 will offer a variant with even more impressive specifications, featuring 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Xiaomi also confirmed that the device will have a 4500mAh battery.
In terms of memory technology, according to Gizmochina on Wednesday (May 24, 2023), Xiaomi Civi 3 features LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Besides these configurations, the device is also available in other options, including 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage, as well as 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage.
Xiaomi Civi 3 is reported to feature a 6.55-inch OLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The most highlighted feature is its front camera setup, consisting of a 32-megapixel main sensor and a 32-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
On the rear, users are said to get a high-resolution 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 main camera. Allegedly, the front camera arrangement of Xiaomi Civi 3, in pill-shaped form, appears smoother than that of the iPhone 14 Pro.
For performance, Xiaomi Civi 3 will be powered by the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chipset. Specifically, the device will support 67W fast charging.
This phone will run on the Android 13 operating system, along with Xiaomi’s custom MIUI 14 interface. To address potential heating issues, Xiaomi Civi 3 will feature a 4,000 mm2 vapor chamber cooling unit, providing efficient heat dissipation during prolonged use.
