vivo X100 Pro to Offer Satellite Network Support

The inclusion of satellite network support has become a notable trend within today’s smartphone market. Following in the footsteps of Apple and several other popular smartphone brands, vivo is now gearing up to introduce satellite connectivity for its upcoming vivo X100 Pro.

As reported by WhyLab, the imminent release of the vivo X100 Pro is set to bring two-way satellite network connectivity, complete with official certification from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). With this advanced feature, the vivo X100 Pro is poised to send text messages, images, videos, and voice recordings in remote and Wi-Fi or cellular network-deprived areas.

Handling the satellite network capabilities of the vivo X100 Pro will be the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 and UNISOC V8821 chipsets. Additionally, reports indicate that the smartphone will sport an impressive 53MP 1/1.43″ primary camera sensor sourced from Sony IMX758, along with a 64MP sensor courtesy of OmniVision OV64B.

The vivo X100 Pro is scheduled for release in China next month, with other variants including the vivo X100 and vivo X100 Pro+ expected to accompany it.
