Will Apple Release a “Budget” Version of Vision Pro in 2025?

Apple has recently launched its latest VR headset, the Apple Vision Pro, with a hefty price tag of $3,499. Considering the price and the specifications it offers, this VR headset becomes an exclusive item accessible only to a certain group of people.

However, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, as reported by Fonearena, the Apple Vision Pro is not intended for mass adoption. Nevertheless, those who are genuinely interested in trying out all the features and sophistication offered by Apple’s VR headset may have to wait a little longer. It is predicted that Apple will introduce a more affordable version in 2025.

Reportedly still in the development phase, this more accessible VR headset is likely to be named Apple Vision or Apple Vision One. In addition to a lower price, this VR headset will also have some reduced specifications such as screen quality, a more standard chip, a reduced number of cameras, a simpler headset design, and possibly require additional devices to be used alongside the headset.

The cheaper Apple Vision is expected to be introduced alongside the second-generation Apple Vision Pro, but for now, this information remains a rumor.
