Will the Rotating Bezel Return on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Pro?

Samsung is reportedly bringing back the rotating bezel on the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Pro. This unique feature was absent from the entire Galaxy Watch 5 series released last year.

The rotating bezel has been a part of Samsung smartwatches since the Gear S2 in 2015 and continued through the Galaxy Watch era, with the exception of the Galaxy Watch Active line.

However, Samsung seemed to want to reserve the rotating bezel only for its highest-end model when they released the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in 2021. As you may know, the rotating bezel was removed from the standard Galaxy Watch 4 model and only available on the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic.

Oddly enough, this unique feature was completely absent from the Galaxy Watch 5 series, which had two models: standard and Pro. Many were disappointed with the loss of the rotating bezel, which provided a unique sensation when physically rotating the smartwatch bezel for navigation.

Although this is just a rumor, it could be a welcome news for users who want the rotating bezel feature back. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series is likely to launch around August, along with the Galaxy Fold and Flip, so we’ll wait for more information.
