Although not officially announced yet, news and rumors about the flagship device Samsung Galaxy S24 Series have started to emerge. One of the latest rumors suggests that the charging capability of this device will see a significant improvement compared to the previous generation.
According to Phone Arena, it is mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and S24 Plus will receive an upgrade in terms of charging power, increasing from 45W to 65W.
Moreover, the same rumor also suggests that the batteries used in the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra could be stacked batteries with a capacity of 5000mAh. To prevent overheating from the 65W power, these stacked batteries will utilize cooling gel to effectively reduce the device’s temperature.
However, it is not specified whether this charging enhancement will also be available in other variants. There is a possibility that the 65W charging may only be present in the regular Galaxy S24, and it might still utilize 25W charging like the previous generation.
