Xiaomi, last month, launched the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in the Chinese market. Now, the upcoming flagship phones, Xiaomi 14 Series, have been spotted in the IMEI database.
Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro have appeared in the IMEI database. However, the IMEI database listing does not reveal the phone’s moniker but discloses the model numbers of the upcoming Xiaomi smartphones.
The variants of Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro spotted in the IMEI database are for both the Chinese and global regions. Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will be the successors to Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro and are expected to be launched this year.
The certification listings indicate that the Xiaomi 14 Pro has model numbers 23116PN5BC (with ‘C’ representing the Chinese variant) and 23116PN5BG. On the other hand, the model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG (with ‘G’ representing the global variant) correspond to the standard Xiaomi 14 variant.
Based on the initial digits 2311 and 2312 of these model numbers, it is speculated that Xiaomi 14 will make its debut around November or December. Meanwhile, Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
However, Qualcomm has not yet disclosed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which is rumored to debut in October 2023. A few days ago, a secret DCS disclosure revealed that Xiaomi 14 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm SM8650 processor.
Xiaomi 14 Pro is rumored to have a 5000mAh battery unit. This phone may feature 50W wireless charging support. Xiaomi 14 Pro is also said to come in two variants, with a flat display and a curved display.
The flat display variant of Xiaomi 14 Pro reportedly offers 90W fast charging support. While the premium curved display version is rumored to come with 120W fast charging support.
Xiaomi is reported to use the WLG High Lens sensor for the optics department in the Xiaomi 14 series. Xiaomi is predicted to continue its collaboration with Leica, so the camera on the Xiaomi 14 series is also expected to be tuned by Leica.
