Xiaomi has just announced several new devices, including the Xiaomi Smart Band 8, which was unveiled at the same event in China. According to Fonearena, the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 features a sleek quick-release mechanism and a metallic texture. Its display measures 1.62 inches and uses an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels and a pixel density of 326 PPI, with a brightness level of up to 600 nits.
The Smart Band 8 offers over 150 sports modes and comes with intelligent health assistants that include SpO2 monitoring, heart rate tracking, sleep pattern analysis, and menstrual cycle tracking for women. Its latest running mode provides comprehensive statistics and reports with at least 13 professional data measurements, such as step frequency, step length, ground contact time ratio, ground impact force, and more, along with professional interpretation of various data.
The smart band connects via Bluetooth 5.1 and is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 and above or iOS 12.0 and above, and it also has NFC capabilities. The battery has a capacity of 190mAh, providing up to 16 days of normal usage and can be recharged in approximately 1 hour.
