Earlier reports suggest that Xiaomi is planning to release its 14 Series smartphones in November, a bit earlier than expected. Xiaomi had previously unveiled the Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro models in December 2022. However, this time around, it seems Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce the Xiaomi 14 Series before the highly anticipated Double Eleven (11/11) event, also known as Singles Day. This event is renowned as one of the largest annual shopping extravaganzas in China and across the globe, taking place on November 11th each year.
If these reports hold true, the upcoming Xiaomi flagship phones are likely to make their debut in the first or second week of November. Following a similar pattern to the Xiaomi 13 Series, Xiaomi is expected to launch two initial models: the standard Xiaomi 14 and the high-end Xiaomi 14 Pro.
One of the driving forces behind this earlier release could be the impressive sales performance of the Xiaomi 13 Series, which managed to surpass sales expectations, achieving its targets in just nine months.
Furthermore, Xiaomi enthusiasts can also look forward to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is rumored to follow in 2024. While the Ultra model typically arrives later than the regular and pro variants, there’s speculation that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may arrive earlier than its predecessor, with a potential launch in the first quarter of 2024.
Notably, these rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Series might be the first devices to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, Qualcomm’s latest flagship System-on-Chip (SoC), set to be officially announced on October 24th.
