Certification Details Emerge for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus

In addition to the already-announced Galaxy Tab S9 Series, Samsung seems to be working on expanding its tablet lineup with the more budget-friendly A series.

One of the key pieces of information surrounding this endeavor pertains to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus, thanks to a series of certifications made public by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

From these certifications, it becomes clear that the tablet, codenamed XM-X210, will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset that supports dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth with BLE5 capabilities. Another certification reveals that the tablet’s display will be TUV Rheinland-certified, and it will be equipped with a 7040mAh battery that supports 15W charging.

This tablet is expected to have dimensions of 257.11 x 168.66 x 6.94mm, indicating the possibility of a slightly larger screen compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Tab A8.

Prior to these certifications, the tablet had already made waves with early benchmark scores on Geekbench, revealing not only the Snapdragon 695 chipset but also 4 GB of RAM, and it’s set to run on Android 13 with Samsung’s One UI 5.1.
