Hey there! Big news from Realme. They’re changing things up for their phone lineup in Europe and India. Remember how they focused on the numbered series in those places? Well, that’s shifting.
Realme used to offer just a few GT series phones in Europe and India, with the most recent ones being the GT2 and GT Neo3. But after today’s event where they showed off the brand new Realme GT 6 and brought the GT 6T to Europe, things are looking different.
We chatted with Chase Xu from Realme, and here’s the scoop: they plan to release two phones from the GT series globally every year. In the future, they’ll even add a super-fancy GT Pro model, but that’s a few years down the road.
Realme’s big dream is for the GT series to become their top phone line, even more popular than the numbered series! They actually mentioned this in a statement before, saying they’d launch the GT series globally in places like Italy, India, Indonesia, and a whole bunch of other countries.
The global rollout has already begun! You can actually snag the Realme GT 6 in the Philippines right now, exclusively on Lazada for around $600 (for the 12GB/256GB version). Malaysia is also getting in on the action, with the GT 6 starting at around $615 and the GT 6T available for a special price of around $470. Expect the other countries on the list to join the party soon!
